The one that many of us will have most to do with an area of claims. We ensure our houses, contents, and cars. These items are often very personal so when a claim occurs we all want it to be sorted and put back the way it was. For a lot of people apart from the initial filling out of the proposal form little is done over the years to make sure covers are up to date and more importantly covering all our stuff. The Christchurch earthquakes, in a very dramatic way, showed all New Zealand the danger of under insurance. It also showed that despite what people thought they were insured for often this was not quite the case. Post Christchurch is more important than ever that clients keep insurance covers up-to-date.
